AI script writers that don't train on your content, ranked
Seven AI script writers ranked by what their own policies say about training on your scripts and videos. Veri ranks first, and we make Veri.
On this page
Veri ranks first for creators who want help writing YouTube scripts without their content training a model for anyone else. It never trains a shared model on your content, and its personal model is off unless you turn it on. Claude, Jasper and ChatGPT follow, each with a catch you should know before you paste in your scripts.
We make Veri, so weigh our ranking with that in mind. Every claim about another product links to that company’s own page, read on October 21, 2026.
How we ranked them
- What happens to your content by default on the plan a creator would sign up for.
- Whether the policy says so plainly, in the company’s own privacy policy, terms or help pages.
- Whether it writes from your own content, not a generic voice.
| Rank | Tool | What its own pages say about training | Writes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Veri | Never trains a shared model on your content. The personal model is off by default and trained only on request. | Your connected YouTube, TikTok and X content and the preferences you save |
| 2 | Claude | Consumer plans: you choose. Claude for Work and the API: not used for training by default. | Projects with the files and instructions you add |
| 3 | Jasper | Not used to train underlying LLMs. Its terms also allow Input and Output to develop Jasper’s own AI models. | A Brand Voice built from your examples |
| 4 | ChatGPT | Free, Plus and Pro: may train unless you opt out. Business, Enterprise and API: not by default. | Projects with the files and instructions you add |
| 5 | OverseerOS | YouTube analytics data is not used to train AI models. No statement found about the scripts you write. | Creator DNA profiles from selected YouTube videos |
| 6 | Subscribr | No statement about AI training. Its terms allow use of your content to develop and improve its services. | A voice profile and writing instructions on the channel |
| 7 | Poppy AI | No statement about AI training. Its terms license your data to provide, improve and expand its services. | Boards of your past content, transcripts and saved voice |
1. Veri
Veri gives you a team of agents for ideas, scripts, titles, thumbnails and clips. They start from your own connected content and the preferences and corrections you save. Your content never trains a shared model, so your scripts don’t improve a model for anyone else. Data from the YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and X APIs is never used to train AI models, and the language models Veri uses run through business APIs that don’t train on that data.
The personal model is a separate choice. It’s trained only for your account, it’s off by default and training is by request, with requests currently on a waitlist. Your saved preferences work with it off. Your data and model training covers the details, and the Privacy Policy is the source.
2. Claude
Anthropic asks people on its consumer plans to choose whether their chats can be used to improve Claude. If you allow it, Anthropic says it keeps that data for up to five years; if you don’t, it keeps its 30-day retention period (Anthropic’s consumer terms update). Claude for Work and the Anthropic API are not used for training by default (Anthropic Privacy Center). You bring your own scripts into a Project each time; Claude doesn’t connect to your channel.
3. Jasper
Jasper’s ethics page says: “Data and intellectual property entered into Jasper is NOT used to train underlying LLMs.” Its Terms of Service, effective May 30, 2025, also say Jasper “uses Customer Property, including Input and Output, to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including for the purpose of developing and enhancing Jasper’s artificial intelligence models.” People in the EU or UK can object by emailing Jasper. The two pages cover different models: the providers’ models and Jasper’s own. Jasper is built for marketing teams; Jasper vs Veri compares them for YouTube scripts.
4. ChatGPT
OpenAI says it may use content from ChatGPT Free, Plus and Pro to train its models unless you turn off Improve the model for everyone in Data controls. Content from ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and the API is not used for training by default (OpenAI Help Center). If you give feedback with a thumbs up or down, the whole conversation can be used even after you opt out. Why ChatGPT doesn’t sound like you covers the writing side.
5. OverseerOS
OverseerOS’s privacy policy says it doesn’t use your connected YouTube analytics data to train AI models. We didn’t find a statement about the scripts and prompts you write in the product. Its Creator DNA feature builds a style profile from YouTube videos you select, from your channel or another one.
6. Subscribr
Subscribr’s privacy policy and terms don’t say whether your content trains AI models. Its terms say you “retain full ownership of all Content you create and upload,” and that Subscribr “may use Content to provide, maintain, develop, and improve” its services. Ask Subscribr directly before you upload unpublished scripts.
7. Poppy AI
Poppy AI’s privacy policy, last updated August 5, 2026, doesn’t mention AI training. Its terms say you “grant Poppy AI a license to use your data for purposes including but not limited to providing, improving, and expanding our services,” and the privacy policy says staff and contractors may access user data for troubleshooting, support, product improvement and business analytics. Poppy AI alternative compares it with Veri.
How to check any tool yourself
Ask these three questions, and look for the answer in the company’s own policy, not its homepage:
- Is my content used to train a model that other customers use?
- Is that on by default, and where do I turn it off?
- Do the AI providers it uses train on what I send?
A general assistant runs on one model trained for everyone. If you want help that starts from your own channel, and you want to decide what trains on it, try Veri on your next script.
