Give Thumbnails the video’s idea, the title you selected in Titles, and the visual direction you want. Add reference images you have the right to use when they help explain the request.
Choose Thumbnails from Agents in the composer or continue from a relevant saved result. Review the concepts before selecting one.
Revise a specific image.
- Open the thumbnail you want to change.
- Describe the edit and what should stay the same, such as the subject, wording, or composition.
- Check the new version before replacing your choice.
Look at the image at a small size, read every word, and check details such as faces, hands, objects, and logos. A generated image still needs your review.
Edit individual parts with Layers.
Layers is available on desktop for a generated thumbnail when the option is shown.
- Open Layers for the generated thumbnail.
- Separate the image into editable parts.
- Select the part you want to change.
- Adjust its position, size, visibility or order, lock it, add text or request a new version of that generated part.
- Review the combined image after each change.
- Save and export the version you want.
Layers gives you more direct control over a generated thumbnail. Imported channel thumbnails remain read-only references.
Use the finished thumbnail.
Download the version you choose and check the file, or review it with the rest of the video’s pieces in Package. A thumbnail concept is not a measured audience result. Use your platform’s testing tools where available to compare performance after publication.
